2009-07-26 - San Francisco Marathon (26.2 miles) : . San Francisco Marathon | July 26, 2009 Despite spraining my neck (due to surfing a few days earlier), sunburns galore, sore calves, a lifetime of asthma, and running on only 4 hours of sleep from the previous two nights due to my severe jet-lag coming home from Malaysia, the morning of July 26th was one of the greatest physical and mental feats I have overcome thus far. 26.2 miles later, "physically drained, yet spiritually satisfied"...it was nothing short of good times! Carpe diem... always! .
